Thailand women’s team in their first match of the tournament which was a rain-curtailed affair against the Netherlands Women’s team scored 76 runs in their quota of 9 overs. In reply, the Netherlands women’s team fell short by 30 runs scoring just 46 runs in their 9 overs
Namibia lost their tournament opener to the strong Irish women’s team and would be looking to make an impact in the tournament. Another loss here would mean that their chances of making it to the main event would be as minimal as it can get.
