Alana King:
The wily right arm leg spinner of Australia was one of the most successful bowlers as she scalped 11/2 in three overs in her last outing against Ireland. She was the most economical bowler and bowled as many as nine dot balls. She bowled well in the middle phase of the innings as well as towards the death.
Tahlia McGrath:
The star Australian all-rounder won the player of the match in her last match against Ireland. The right-handed middle order batter muscled 70 runs off 45 balls, including 11 boundaries and stitched a 135-run partnership with captain Meg Lanning for the third wicket. Apart from her batting, she can also roll her arm over to bowl right arm medium pace.
Nida Dar:
The experienced all-rounder from Pakistan bagged the player of the match in her last appearance against Ireland. With the bat, the right-handed middle order batter smashed 26 runs off 15 balls, including three boundaries and a six. Later, the right arm off spinner struck with 17/1 in three overs.
Muneeba Ali:
The left-handed opening batter and wicket-keeper of Pakistan top scored with 29 runs off 24 balls in her last game against Ireland. The southpaw hammered four boundaries. Despite losing her opening partner for a duck, Ali fought hard and anchored Pakistan’s batting innings.
Pitch
This will be the fifth match of the tournament at this venue. The last match saw more than 300 runs being scored. 11 wickets fell in the process out of which fast bowlers claimed six and spinners accounted for five. The wicket seems to be good for batting. Expect a high scoring contest. Toss will be important as there is a high chance of rain. Team winning the toss may look to bowl first.
