The Birmingham Phoenix skipper Ellyse Perry’s all-round show played an instrumental role as they edged past Trent Rockets led by skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt by three runs at Trent Bridge, Nottingham in the 9th match of the tournament.

London Spirit led by skipper Heather Knight was all set to face Welsh Fire led by skipper Tammy Beaumont at Lord’s, London in the 10th match of the season. Welsh Fire skipper Tammy Beaumont won the toss and opted to field first. Jess Jonassen picked up the wicket of Danielle Gibson to provide the 5th breakthrough for Welsh Fire. London Spirit eventually ended up with a total of 150/5 in their quota of 100 deliveries.
