Southern Brave led by skipper Georgia Adams was all set to face Manchester Originals led by skipper Sophie Ecclestone at, The Rose Bowl, Southampton in the 11th match of the season.

Manchester Originals skipper Sophie Ecclestone won the toss and opted to field first. After being inserted to bat first, the Southern Brave openers Maia Bouchier and Danielle Wyatt got their side off to a solid start with a brisk 51-run opening stand. Kim Garth cleaned up Maia Bouchier to provide the first breakthrough for Manchester Originals. Charli Knott joined Danielle Wyatt at the crease and the duo stitched another crucial 68-run partnership for the 2nd wicket to take their side close to the 120-run mark. Skipper Sophie Ecclestone picked up the wicket of opening batter Danielle Wyatt to provide the 2nd breakthrough for her side. She completed her well-deserved half-century before getting dismissed.

Southern Brave eventually ended up with a total of 136/5 in their quota of 100 deliveries. Danielle Wyatt (61 off 46 balls), Charli Knott (27 off 28 balls), Maia Bouchier (24 off 16 balls), and Chloe Tryon (13 off 6 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Southern Brave. However, the duo managed to hold their nerve to take their side over the line with an unbeaten 40-run 5th wicket partnership. Manchester Originals eventually sealed the game with six wickets in hand and two balls to spare.
