Players to watch out:

Grace Scrivens

The 20-year-old all-rounder had a promising start to the ’24 domestic season, amassing 267 runs from 6 innings in the One Dayers at an average of 89.00. Grace didn’t carry this form into the T20 season, departing cheaply with scores of 8, 0, 21, and 1. However, in her most recent outing, she scored a solid 64* and will be backed to make the most of this return to form.

Jodie Grewcock

The 19-year-old all-rounder, in the One Dayers this domestic season, accumulated 151 runs and took 7 wickets at an economy rate of 3.29 from 6 games. In the T20s, while Jodie has continued to chip in with the bat, she only has 2 wickets to her name from 5 outings. Jodie’s previous couple of bowling figures read 1/18 and 1/13, and it is hoped she continues on this form.

Alice Capsey

The 19-year-old all-rounder, in T20Is from 28 innings, has amassed 543 runs at a strike rate of 122.85 and also has 5 wickets to her name. With multiple starts and a few wickets, Alice has been in decent form this season in international cricket, although she is yet to play a domestic game. Given her form, she can be counted on for the goods with both bat and ball.

Danielle Gregory

The 25-year-old leg-spinner picked up 4 wickets at an economy rate of 4.91 from 6 One Dayers this domestic season. Building on the momentum, Danielle has returned bowling figures of 1/18, 1/27, 1/17, and 3/23 in the T20s, and in her only batting outing, chipped in with 12* runs. It is expected that she extends this run of form into the business end, stepping up with all-round efforts.

Pitch:

The track at Lord’s Cricket Ground offers substantial support to the bowlers, particularly pacers, with ample movement off the surface. Runs will not be difficult to come by on this surface, and the average score at the venue is in the 150s.

The conditions in London are forecasted to be pleasant for the game, despite partly cloudy skies, as the chances of rain are low. The temperature is expected to be around 17°C, with light winds and a humidity level of 57%.
