Salma Khatun:

The veteran all-rounder of Bangladesh made valuable contributions with bat and ball in her last appearance against Pakistan. The right-handed middle-order batter starred with the bat scoring 24 not out off 29, including a couple of boundaries. The off-spinner claimed 27/1 in four overs with the ball, opening the bowling attack.

Lata Mondal:

The right-arm medium-pace bowler of Bangladesh was the most economical in her last outing against Pakistan. She bowled two overs and conceded just seven runs. Apart from this, she scored 12 off 19, including one boundary, batting at number five.

Sasha Azmi: 

The right-arm speedster of Malaysia was one of the two wicket-takers for her team in her last fixture against UAE. She opened the bowling and bowled well with the new ball. She accounted for 7/1 in her full quota of four overs. She was the most economical bowler for her team.

Winifred Duraisingam: 

The captain of Malaysia top scored 33 off 53 in her last game against UAE. The right-handed opening batter smashed four boundaries in her innings. In the process, she stitched a 40-run partnership with her opening partner Wan Julia to set the foundation for the batters to follow. With the ball, she bowled one over and gave away eight runs.

Pitch

This will be the 11th match of the tournament at the venue, with the 10th game being played early in the day. Out of the nine matches played here till yesterday, the teams batting first have won five games, while the teams batting second have won four. The wicket is expected to be on a slower side, making batting difficult. On the other hand, the spinners will get some purchase from the pitch.
