The Pakistan eves make this tour on the back of a not-so-eventful tour of South Africa where they were whitewashed 3-0 in the one-dayers and lost the T20Is by a 2-1 margin. This series will be the Zimbabwe cricket team’s first series post the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier which they won in May 2019.

All the matches will be played in Zimbabwe’s capital Harare from February 9th to February 20th. As Zimbabwe does not have an ODI status as yet, the 50-over matches will not be classified as official ODIs. The T20s though will be considered as international games.

The tour will help the Girls in Green prepare for the 2021 ICC Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

Fixtures – Pakistan women’s tour of Zimbabwe

One day matches – February 9, 11, 13.

T20Is – February 16, 18, 20.

Though Pakistan could not impress with their results, but some individual performances definitely stood out from their recent outing with South Africa. One such player who performed extremely well was Aliya Riaz who scored 136 Runs in 3 ODI Matches. She was the highest run-getter in the ODI format. Leading the bowling department is young and dynamic pace bowler Diana Baig who scalped 9 Wickets in just 3 ODI Matches.

Diana Baig also happens to be one of the nominees at ICC’s Player of the Month for January 2021.
