Players to watch out for
The right hand middle order bat was the leading run getter for Argentina in their last match against Canada. She scored an unbeaten 18 off 18 balls, hitting one boundary. She came in to bat in the 13th over of the match and was there till the end of the innings. With the ball, she accounted for 1-15 in her three overs, including 14 dot balls.
The right hand opening bat was the other major contributor with the bat against Canada in her last match. She scored 11 runs off 27 balls, including one boundary.
The right arm seamer was the pick of the bowlers for Brazil in their last match against the United States. She scalped 3-24 in her four overs and bowled 11 dot balls. With the bat, she scored 7 runs off 18 balls, batting at number 4.
The captain of Brazil top scored with 12 runs off 35 balls. The right-hand middle order bat came into the middle in the fourth over and was there till the 16th over.
The weather does look too good as there is 50% chance of rain through the course of the match. The temperatures are expected to drop from 21 degrees Celsius in the afternoon (local) to 15 degrees Celsius in the evening (local). It is expected to be cloudy with a couple of showers and thunderstorms during the course of the match.
This will be the 10th match of the tournament at the venue and is likely that the wicket will play slow. Argentina, after a disastrous show against Brazil in their last encounter, would look to redeem themselves. Argentina was bowled out for a paltry 12. Batters will have to play on the merit of the ball. On the other hand, the bowlers will have to focus on the basics to reap the most out of the wicket.
