Players to watch out for
Divya Saxena:
The all-rounder won the player of the match in her previous outing against Argentina. With the ball, she picked up 1-13 in her four overs, bowling 16 dot balls. With the bat, the opening batter scored an unbeaten run a ball 39, hitting half a dozen boundaries. She led the run chase and helped her team achieve the target of 60 in 10.4 overs.
Mukhwinder Gill:
The right arm seamer was the pick of the bowlers for Canada in their last match against Argentina. She scalped 2-6 in her four overs, including one maiden. She bowled as many as 20 dot balls in her spell.
Gargi Bhogle:
The left hand opening bat top scored with 26 runs off 40 balls, including two boundaries. She had a lion’s share in the team’s total of 89-6 in 20 overs. She was there till the 17th over and held the innings together.
Sara Farooq:
The right-arm seamer, who opened the bowling for the United States, was the player of the match in the last game against Brazil. She picked up 3-8 in her four overs and bowled 18 dot balls.
