Inaugural champions Mumbai Indians will go up against Gujarat Giants, a team they’ve dominated with a 6-0 record, in the 2025 Women’s Premier League (WPL) Eliminator. The high-stakes clash is set to take place at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium on the 13th of March 2025, starting at 7:30 PM IST.
With history at stake, Gujarat Giants, making their first-ever playoff appearance after two bottom-table finishes, are aiming for ultimate glory, while Mumbai Indians, eager to avenge last season’s Eliminator loss, are aiming to take a step closer to becoming the first team to win multiple WPL titles.

The 20-year-old pacer, in her maiden WPL stint, has lived up to expectations, translating her domestic success onto a bigger stage. Kashvee had a wicketless start but followed up with figures of 1/15, 2/15, 2/26, and 1/17, before producing a season-best 3/18 against UP Warriorz. The 24-year-old all-rounder, from 17 WPL outings, has added 195 runs at a strike rate of 124.20 and taken 5 wickets at an economy rate of 7.15. Amanjot has been central to Mumbai’s success this season, making a name for herself in a star-studded lineup. Shabnim Ismail
