With the much-anticipated 2025 Women’s Premier League (WPL) on the horizon, teams have finalized their player retention and releases, setting the stage for the third season, most likely scheduled for February-March 2025. After retaining their core squads, teams now look toward the auction with adjusted budgets and available roster slots, positioning themselves to fill key gaps.

For this season, each team is required to maintain a squad of 15-18 players, with a maximum of six international players allowed. The auction purse has been raised to INR 15 crore, up from INR 12 crore in the inaugural season and INR 13.5 crore last year, granting teams additional financial flexibility to assemble competitive lineups.

Delhi Capitals – INR 2.50 Cr

Delhi Capitals enter the WPL 2025 auction with four open slots, including at least one overseas talent to complete their 18-player squad, supported by a budget of INR 2.50 crore.
