Jemimah Rodrigues
The 23-year-old middle-order batter had 7 WPL outings last season, accumulating 126 runs, striking at 128.57. Jemimah was in excellent form in the lead-up to the WPL, amassing 534 runs from 13 domestic T20 outings. Continuing her form, in her first outing this season, she rewrote her WPL best to 42 (24) and it’ll be expected of her to capitalize on this form.
Annabel Sutherland
The 22-year-old all-rounder in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), from 11 innings, has added 109 runs to the tally, while also taking 15 wickets from 25 outings. Annabel made her WPL debut with the Capitals, recording figures of 0/38 (4), and will be backed to find form. She holds good experience, and in the Bash, she has 1187 runs and 82 wickets to her profile, with bests being 72 and 4/20.
Grace Harris
The 30-year-old all-rounder amassed 230 runs, striking at 165.46, from 5 WPL outings last edition, while also bagging a wicket. Grace, in the 2024 season opener, scored a 23-ball 38 and also finished with figures of 1/22 (3). She’s consistently been amongst runs lately and is the batter in form and will be relied upon for the goods, especially after the start she has had.
Deepti Sharma
The 26-year-old all-rounder managed 90 runs and only 9 wickets from nine WPL appearances last season, overall having a below-par season by her standards. Deepti has been in brilliant form with both bat and ball, domestically and internationally. While she remained unbeaten on 13, she registered figures of 1/23 in the season opener. The team will count on her for all-round efforts.
