Harleen Deol made her mark in Indian cricket with her WT20I debut against the England Women in March 2019, she showcased her talent in the women’s t20 challenge for trailblazers in May 2019 forming a formidable partnership with Smriti Mandhana.
Notably, Deol gained widespread recognition in July 2021 for her stunning acrobatic catch during a twenty-20 series against England, her athleticism and presence of mind earned praise from cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In January 2020 she was selected for India’s squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia showcasing her growing prominence in international cricket furthermore she represented India in the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, and her journey continued with the inaugural season of the Indian WPL in 2023 where she was signed by the Gujarat Giants.
