Bio:

Ashleigh Gardner has represented various teams in domestic and international cricket including New South Wales in the WNCL, Sydney Sixers in the WBBL, and Gujarat Giants in the WPL. Gardner has achieved significant success winning three world championships, four national titles, and individual honors like the Belinda Clark Award.

In her domestic career, Gardner made her mark with standout performances in the 2014/15 Imparja Cup leading to her debut for New South Wales in the 2015/16 WNCL season and joining the Sydney Sixers in the inaugural WBBL season she enjoyed a breakout 201617 season winning championships with both teams and being named the young gun of WBBL 02 despite facing setbacks such as heat exhaustion during the WBBL final and concussions, Gardner continued to excel earning accolades like the player of the tournament in WBBL 08.

In February 2023 Gardner secured a lucrative deal with Gujarat Giants in the WPL auction for 3.2 crores further cementing her status as a top player in the league with 204 runs and 10 wickets in just 8 games

Internationally Gardner made her mark with impactful performances in WT20I with present stats of 64 wickets and 1308 runs in 85 matches notably she played a crucial role in Australia’s victories in the 2017/18 Women’s Ashes and the ICC Women’s World Twenty 20 where she was named player of the final.
