Shabnam Shakil was a part of the India Under 19 side that went on to win the inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s Under 19 World Cup in 2023. The bowler from Andhra is known for her ability to bowl with control and keep the scoring rate under check.
In the domestic tournaments this season, Shabnim Shakil has had some great bowling spells but has very little against her name to show for it.
She was bought by Gujarat Giants for a price of 10 Lakhs. She has yet to make her WPL debut and hopes a chance comes her way. She will be sharing the dressing room with some of the most experienced players and will have much to learn from Lea Tahuhu and Ashleigh Gardner.
