The right-arm medium pacer made her international debut for the national side against Australia in September 2021. Meghna has been a consistent performer in domestic tournaments and has showcased her skills across all formats of the game.
The medium pacer has featured in 9 T20Is so far and has taken 4 wickets for India. She also has featured in 17 ODIs and has accounted for 14 wickets.
Meghna was not picked up by any franchise in the inaugural auction and she missed out on the chance to play this marquee event. This season, the Gujarat Giants acquired her services for 30 Lakhs. She will look for any chance that comes her way and repay the faith the franchise has shown in her. This WPL will also present her with an opportunity to make a comeback into the scheme of things for the Indian women’s side.
