The young right-arm medium pacer hailing from Melbourne in Australia, has already made a mark on the game in her short career. Her 210-run knock against South Africa in the recently concluded test not only handed her the record for the fastest double century in women’s tests but also the second youngest to achieve this feat.
She has been a regular feature in the Australian side across formats, having featured in more than 50 games for the national side. In 28 T20Is Annabel Sutherland has scored 109 runs coming in lower down the order. With the ball in hand, she is a force to be reckoned with, bowling with great control and discipline she dictates terms to the batters. She has accounted for 15 scalps so far with the best figures of 3/28.
In the previous edition of the WPL, Annabel Sutherland was a part of the Gujarat Giants squad. Having featured in just 4 games in the season, Sutherland didn’t have much to contribute.
