Titas Sadhu was a part of India’s under-19 setup which went on to win the inaugural edition of the IC Women’s Under 19 World Cup in the year 2023. Following a great run in the tournament where she claimed 6 wickets in 6 games on spinner-friendly surfaces, she was called up to India’s senior Women’s team.
She debuted in September of 2023 against Bangladesh, representing India in the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023. She claimed 4 wickets in 2 games in the tournament, 3 out of which came in the final against Sri Lanka as India went on to clinch the gold medal. She was a part of India’s side for the Australia and England T20I series. Her best figures of 4/17 came against Australia in the 1st T20I.
She is yet to make her debut in the WPL, the Delhi Capitals have a great weapon in their armoury this season. She will want to make her mark in the tournament.
