Poonam Khemnar was the third-highest run-getter with a total of 329 runs in 7 innings in the 2023 senior Women’s T20 Trophy, She even scored the highest score of the tournament, an unbeaten 142 against Arunachal with a whopping strike rate of 202.85. She even scored the fastest century in the same tournament. Poonam is the first cricketer to hit a century for her team Nagaland in the Women’s Senior One Day Trophy. She scored 105 runs including nine boundaries and seven maximums in a match-winning result against team Manipur in Kolkata in 2022. In last year’s WPL she was picked by Royal Challengers Banglore at the base price but she couldn’t manage her place in many matches.
