Cricket fans in Lahore are in for a treat as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for all matches at Gaddafi Stadium during the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025.

This bold move by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is a game-changer. It’s a celebration of women’s cricket and a golden opportunity for fans to cheer on their favorite teams in person—especially the home team, Pakistan, who will be playing four key matches at the venue.
Gaddafi Stadium will host eight high-stakes encounters starting with the opening clash between Pakistan and Ireland on April 9 at 9:30 AM. The second match at the venue will see Ireland take on the West Indies on April 11 at 9:30 AM. A thrilling day-night contest between Bangladesh and Ireland is scheduled for April 13 at 2:00 PM, followed by a blockbuster face-off between Pakistan and West Indies under lights on April 14 at 2:00 PM.
Action continues with Scotland vs Bangladesh on April 15 at 2:00 PM, Pakistan vs Thailand on April 17 at 2:00 PM, and Ireland vs Scotland on April 18 at 2:00 PM. The final Gaddafi Stadium match will feature West Indies vs Thailand on April 19 at 2:00 PM. With free access to all these games, fans have a unique chance to witness international women’s cricket at one of the sport’s most iconic venues.
The tournament features six determined teams—Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, and Thailand—all fighting for the final two spots in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, which will be held later this year in India. The two teams that qualify will join the likes of Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and hosts India in the global showdown. Australia will arrive looking to defend their 2022 title, but first, these six must survive the heat of the qualifiers.
Meanwhile, the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) Ground will host seven matches throughout the qualifier. The schedule begins with West Indies vs Scotland on April 9, followed by Thailand vs Bangladesh on April 10, and Pakistan vs Scotland on April 11—all day matches. The next set of fixtures includes Scotland vs Thailand on April 13, Thailand vs Ireland on April 15, and Bangladesh vs West Indies on April 17.
The LCCA round concludes with a highly anticipated clash between Pakistan and Bangladesh on April 19. This venue, hosting international women’s cricket for the first time, promises competitive matchups and a fresh chapter in Pakistan’s cricketing landscape.
