The 2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier will kick start on August 26 and will be played among five teams in Spain. France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland are the five teams that will be participating in the tournament that will conclude on August 30.
Out of the five teams, only one team that tops the table will qualify for the 2022 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament. France will make their debuts at an ICC women’s event. Originally, there were six teams with Turkey being the sixth participant. However, Turkey had to withdraw from the tournament at the last moment, as they were unable to get approval to travel from the Turkish Sports Ministry.
