Chasing a target of 104, the West Indies openers Stafanie Taylor and skipper Hayley Matthews got their side off to a solid start with a 52-run opening partnership. Shemaine Campbelle joined Stafanie Taylor, who shortly after retired hurt, struggling with her running between the wickets and Deandra Dottin replaced her at the crease to join wicket-keeper batter Campbelle. However, Nahida Akter soon picked up the wicket of Campbelle to provide the 2nd breakthrough for her side.

West Indies eventually got over the line with 8 wickets in hand and 43 balls to spare. Skipper Hayley Matthews (34 off 22 balls), Stafanie Taylor (27* off 29 balls), wicket-keeper batter Campbelle (21 off 16 balls), and Deandra Dottin (19* off 7 balls) were the top performers with the bat for the West Indies.
