Sune Luus:

The captain of South Africa top-scored in her last appearance against Sri Lanka. Batting at number four, the right-handed batter scored 28 off 27, including one six. She came into bat in the eighth over and was there till the 19th.

Marizanne Kapp:

The star all-rounder of South Africa opened the bowling with Shabnim Ismail in the last game against Sri Lanka. The right-arm seamer scalped 15/1 in four overs and was the most economical bowler. She also scored 11 off 12, batting at number three.

Lea Tahuhu:

The right-arm pace sensation of New Zealand opened the bowling in the last encounter against Australia. She claimed 37/3 in four overs. She struck in her first over getting rid of the dangerous Beth Mooney. Besides, she can be handy with the bat in the middle order.

Amelia Kerr:

The wily right-arm leg-spinner of New Zealand was one of the most successful bowlers for her side in the last fixture against Australia. She snapped 23/3 in four overs and was effective in the middle and death overs. She was also the most economical bowler for her team. With the bat, she mustered 21 off 30.

Pitch

It will be the tournament’s fourth match at the venue, with the third being played early in the day. Out of the two games played till February 12, the teams batting first and second have won one each. The wicket looks good for batting. A run-feast could be on the cards.
