Players to watch out for
Laura Wolvaardt:
The right-handed opening batter from South Africa will be a key player from Velocity. She has been in good form in the recent past and has the experience of playing in India. She has played a total of 33 T20Is and muscled 588 runs at a strike rate of 115, including three half-centuries. Apart from her batting, she is an excellent fielder.
Deepti Sharma:
The all-rounder from India will captain Velocity. She is a left-handed batter, who can open the batting as well as bat in the middle order. Apart from her batting, she is known for her bowling. The off-spinner can bowl well with the new ball as well as in the death overs. She has scored close to 500 T20I runs and scalped 60 wickets in 58 T20Is for India.
Harmanpreet Kaur:
The captain of Supernovas top scored with 37 runs off 29 balls in her last match against Supernovas. She anchored the innings with the bat. She also led the side well steering him to a comfortable win.
Pooja Vastrakar:
This right arm Indian speedster who plays for Supernovas was the pick of the bowlers in her last outing against Trailblazers as she scalped 4-12 in four overs. She rattled the opposition with her pace and accuracy.
