The right arm off-spinner of England was the player of the match in her last outing against India. She picked up 4-23 in 8.2 overs, including one maiden. She is a genuine wicket-taker and partnership breaker.
The captain of New Zealand top-scored with a brilliant 93 off 101 balls to help her team post 228 against South Africa in the last match. Apart from being a prolific opening batter, she is more than a handy right arm seamer. In the same match, she picked up 1-27 in five overs.
The star New Zealand all-rounder made useful contributions with both bat and ball in her last encounter against South Africa. With the bat, she mustered 42 runs off 58 balls and with the ball, she scalped 3-50 in 10 overs , including one maiden, bowling right arm leg spin.
This will be the second match of the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup that will be played here. In the first match, the team batting second won. More than 550 runs were scored. The wicket is expected to be batting friendly with almost no assistance for the bowlers. The bowlers will have to bowl their heart out to get some purchase from the wicket.
