Most T20I stumpings in women’s cricket in 2019

Surprisingly the newest nation in the field of women’s cricket tops many charts, that is none other than Thailand, and even in most stumpings this year Thailand leads the way. Let us have a look at the top 5 stumpings done by any wicketkeeper:

5. Nigar Sultana: (Bangladesh)

The Bangladeshi looks to be in a good shape since her debut in 2015. Her presence in the team has given the women’s Bangladesh team an edge because of her fantastic wicketkeeping. Sultana made 9 stumpings in 13 matches. She played an integral part in the win over Sri Lanka in South Asian Games where Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by two runs to win gold.

4. Babette de Leede: (Netherlands)

The 20-year-old Dutch keeper has some outstanding numbers to her name. Babette de Leede started her career in 2015, and since then she has been someone to watch upon. In 2019 Leede stumped 10 times in 16 matches.

3. Sarah Bryce (Scotland)

Sarah Bryce the Scottish wicketkeeper has surprised the world by her performance, as being a newcomer she has impressed a lot. Bryce is just 19 years old and has 11 stumpings in 15 matches in 2019. She was also the top scorer for her side in the T20 Qualifiers in 2018.

2. Taniya Bhatia (India)

On the second we have Taniya Bhatia who is currently named as the best wicketkeeper in India. The ICC named her as one of the five breakout stars in women’s cricket in 2018. Bhatia helped India by stumping 13 batswomen in just 15 matches.

1. Nannapat Koncharoenkai(Thailand)

Topping the list is the 19-year-old Nannapat Koncharoenkai from Thailand, who was successful in making 15 stumpings in 23 innings she played. This shows how Thailand is growing as a team and can be a threat to others in the future.
