Debbie Hockley is the cricketer with the fifth most fifties in ODI history. Debbie Hockley is the White Ferns former captain who had recorded 34 half-centuries in her tenure as skipper. Along with this record, she holds the record for most runs scored in an ICC ODI World Cup. The prolific Hockley was also the first New Zealand women to score 1000 runs in the ODI format
5. Karen Rolton – 33 fifties
Australian left-handed batsman Karen Rolton is fourth on the list of most fifties scored in ODI’s. Karen Rolton was deadly in all three formats of the game and is one of the most feared batsmen. New Zealand coach Steve Jenkin once said that the best tactic against Rolton was to avoid dismissing the Australian team’s openers so she could not bat. She recorded 33 fifties and 8 centuries in the ODI format. Her most memorable moment was in the 2005 World Cup final, where she scored 107 not out and won the trophy and player of the match.
