On winning the toss, Renegades skipper asked Heat to bat first. The in-form player Mooney got out early for 9 and Allrounder Johnson too failed. The senior pro-Jess Jonasesen was the one who came to assist for Heat as she scored an all-important half-century because of which Heat confirmed a spot in Knockout. She ended up scoring 63 and Green with 31 was the second-best. With the ball spinners Wareham, Strano and Brown chipped in with wickets.
The heat ended up on 153 for 5 in 20 overs.

For renegades, it was in-form Wyatt who scored 40 odd runs but failed to convert them into big. In the end, brown tried her best with a cameo of 20 plus runs but sadly Renegades were short by 6 runs.
