The ace West Indies all-rounder Stafanie Taylor has been roped in to play in WBBL by Adelaide Strikers making her the third international signing for the club.
Taylor though won’t be available for the whole season, she will be available for the 1st two games and then will be available for the last two games and the knockout stages if the Adelaide strikers qualify. To enclose the gap that would be created once Taylor leaves for her national duties Adelaide Strikers has also brought in the English opener, Lauren Winfield.
Lauren Winfield will come in place of Taylor in the middle phase of the tournament thus sharing the third international player’s spot with Taylor.
Stafanie Taylor has been one of the most prolific runs scorers in the shortest format of the game. Taylor is also not new to the Big Bash League. She has previously played for Sydney Thunders in the first edition of the WBBL. She is also one of the elite players who has 1000 runs in the Big Bash League while she was also the top wicket-taker in the 2018 edition for Sydney thunders.
Lauren Winfield is one of the batting Mainstays for the English team at the top of the order. Lauren had previously represented Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes in the previous editions of the tournament.
With the signing in of these two players as a shared international sign-in for the club, Adelaide Strikers have brought in a lot of experience to their squad.
