In the final, India won the toss and opted to bat first, starting strongly with 44 runs without loss in the powerplay. They ended their innings at 165/6, with Smriti Mandhana top-scoring with 60 off 47 balls. Kavisha Dilhari was effective for Sri Lanka, claiming 2 wickets. In response, Sri Lanka chased down the target with ease, reaching 166/2 in 18.3 overs. Harshitha Samarawickrama was outstanding, scoring an unbeaten 69 off 51 balls, supported by Chamari Athapaththu’s 61 off 43 balls and Kavisha Dilhari’s quick 30* off 16 balls. Sri Lanka won by 8 wickets, with Harshitha Samarawickrama named Player of the Match, and secured their first-ever Women’s Asia Cup title. Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu for her overall contribution of 304 runs & 3 wickets was awarded the Player of the Tournament.
