Indu Barma-led Nepal registered their first win in the history of the Women’s Asia Cup over the UAE by defeating them by 6 wickets and managed to win 2 important points in the group table.

Samjhana Khadka from Nepal played an incredible knock of unbeaten 72 runs in 45 balls and while bowling captain Indu Barma led the bowling side by taking 3 wickets in 4 overs, maintaining an economy of 4.75. The UAE scored 118 runs in 20 overs, where Khushi Sharma and Kavisha Egodage scored 36 and 22 runs respectively to help the UAE reach this respectable target. But Nepal put up a spirited performance, winning this match in just 16.1 overs.
