Brief History of Greece Women’s National Cricket Team
The Greece national women’s cricket team represents Greece in international women’s cricket. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. As a result, all T20 matches played between Greece and other ICC members since 1 July 2018 have been eligible for WT20I status.

Greece made their WT20I debut against Romania at Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground in Ilfov County on 9 September 2022, where Greece won the toss and elected to field first. Romania posted a total of 85 runs in 19.2 overs as Rebecca Blake top-scored with 38 runs, while debutant Aggeliki Savvani was the pick of the Greek bowlers, claiming figures of 3 wickets against 7 runs in her 4 over spell, earning her the Player of the Match award. Greece batters chased down the target in 14 overs, reaching 86 for the loss of 2 wickets. Aggeliki-Ioanna Argyropoulou remained unbeaten with 34 runs, guiding her team to register their first victory.
