Bio:

Phoebe Litchfield made her international debut in December 2022, quickly establishing herself as a promising talent in Australian cricket.

In the domestic circuit, as of 2024, she plays for New South Wales in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL). Litchfield hit her first WNCL century for NSW in October 2022.

Across all three international formats, she has scored two centuries and five half-centuries.

In T20 Internationals, Litchfield made her debut on December 11, 2022, against India during Australia’s tour of India at DY Patil Stadium, Nerul. By 2024, she has accumulated over 190 runs in T20Is.

In One Day Internationals, Litchfield debuted on January 16, 2023, against Pakistan during their tour of Australia at Brisbane. In her impressive ODI debut, she scored an unbeaten 78 off 92 balls, helping Australia secure an eight-wicket win and earning the Player of the Match title for her performance. She scored her maiden international century against Ireland on July 28, 2023, at Dublin, with a commanding 106 not out, again receiving the Player of the Match award. As of 2024, she has scored over 650 runs in ODIs.

In Tests, she debuted on June 22, 2023, against England during Australia’s tour of England at Nottingham. As of 2024, she has scored over 90 runs in Tests.

In franchise cricket, as of 2024, she plays for Sydney Thunder in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), Northern Superchargers in The Hundred, and Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League (WPL).

In her second match for the Thunder, aged 16, she became the youngest player to make a half-century in the WBBL. She also won the WBBL’s Young Gun award for the WBBL|07 season.

Her promising talent was recognized when she was named the ICC’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year for 2023.
