Bio:

Kim Garth holds the unique distinction of being the only woman to have played international cricket for both Ireland and Australia.

Her international journey began in July 2010 when she debuted for Ireland. Garth represented Ireland from 2010 to 2019 before deciding to move to Australia. She became an Australian permanent resident in 2022 and became eligible to play for the Australian national team. For Australia, she made her international debut in December 2022.

In the domestic circuit, as of 2024, Garth plays for Victoria in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL), having made her debut in February 2021.

Across all three formats internationally, she has scored three half-centuries and has taken one four-wicket haul.

In One Day Internationals, Garth debuted for Ireland on July 4, 2010, against New Zealand during their tour of England at Kibworth. As of 2024, she has scored over 500 runs and has taken more than 40 wickets in ODIs.

In T20 Internationals, she made her debut for Ireland on October 16, 2010, against Pakistan during the ICC Women’s Cricket Twenty20 Challenge at Potchefstroom (Uni 2). In her impressive T20I debut, Garth picked up two wickets. As of 2024, she has scored over 760 runs and has taken more than 45 wickets in T20Is.

In Tests, she made her debut for Australia on June 22, 2023, against England during Australia’s tour of England at Nottingham. As of 2024, she has scored over 100 runs and has taken more than five wickets in Tests.

In franchise cricket, as of 2024, she plays for Melbourne Stars in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and Trent Rockets in The Hundred. Earlier in her career, she played for Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers in WBBL and Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League (WPL).
