Bio:
Brooke Halliday is a talented bowling all-rounder who can bat in any situation where the team needs her and can also contribute with the ball. She made her ODI debut on February 23, 2021, during the England women’s tour of New Zealand in Christchurch. She then made her T20I debut on March 3, 2021, against England during the same home series in Wellington.
Halliday played her first T20 World Cup in 2022 and was one of the three nominees for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month Award in March 2021. New Zealand Cricket awarded her a first central contract ahead of the 2021-22 season. She was also part of the New Zealand Women’s bronze medal-winning team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. In domestic leagues, Halliday played nine seasons for Northern Districts and topped the list of most run-getters. She has also captained the Northern District.
While performing exceptionally for the New Zealand women’s team, Halliday also played in domestic leagues for the Auckland Women, Northern Districts Women, and Northern Districts Under-21s Women teams.
