At just 13, Wolvaardt received an invitation to play for a South African U19 invitational team, followed by being named the Cricket South Africa U-19 Player of the Year in 2013. Wolvaardt’s cricketing journey began remarkably early. She burst onto the international scene in February 2016, making her WODI debut against England at a young age. And in 2022, she added another feather to her cap, making her Test debut against England, showcasing her versatility as a cricketer.

Her swift rise continued in August 2016, when at the tender age of 17, Wolvaardt marked her name in history by becoming the youngest South African centurion and third overall in international cricket, scoring a match-winning 105 against Ireland.

Beyond her international feats, Wolvaardt has also made a significant impact in various domestic and franchise leagues worldwide. She has been a valuable asset to teams like Brisbane Heat in the Women’s Big Bash League, Adelaide Strikers, and even the Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League
