Sidra Ameen is a right-handed batter for Pakistan’s national team. She made her T20 International debut on 24 April 2001 against Ireland during the Women’s T20 Quadrangular Series in Sri Lanka. In the same series, she made her WODI debut against Sri Lanka. In June 2022, she reached over 1000 runs in One Day International (ODI) cricket, becoming one of Pakistan’s top women batters. She also plays for various teams in Pakistan’s domestic cricket like Central Zone Blues Women, Lahore Women and Super Women, PCB Blasters.

Sidra has been part of Pakistan’s team in several important tournaments. She played in the 2013 World Cup and was picked for the 2018 World Twenty20, though she was later replaced. She also played in the 2021 World Cup Qualifier and the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup.

Sidra has achieved some big milestones in her career. On March 14, 2022, she scored her first century in a World Cup match against Bangladesh. In the following match, she also completed her 1000 runs in ODI career.

She has also registered a record as the first batter to score the most hundreds in a calendar year (3). Against Ireland, on 04 November 2022, she made her highest international score, scoring an undefeated 176 runs off 151 balls at a strike rate of 116.55.
