Brief History of Myanmar Women’s National Cricket Team
Myanmar’s journey into international women’s cricket began with its debut in Thailand’s World T20 Smash in January 2019. Following the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) decision in April 2018 to grant full Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to its members, the Myanmar women’s team found themselves on a recognized platform, with all their Twenty20 matches against ICC members since July 1, 2018, eligible for full WT20I status.
