Tanisha Singh led Delhi’s innings with a powerful knock of 119 from only 47 deliveries. The 23-year-old struck 25 fours and one six. She reached her century in just 38 balls, making it the joint third-fastest hundred in women’s T20 cricket. Her effort placed her alongside Deandra Dottin, who had also scored a century in 38 balls against South Africa in 2010. Only Kiran Navgire, with a 34-ball hundred, and Sophie Devine, with a 36-ball century, have reached the milestone faster.

Delhi lost opening batter Vanshika Lila early, but Tanisha found strong support from Priya Punia. The pair built a 160-run partnership for the second wicket from 66 balls, giving Delhi the platform for a huge total. Priya played an attacking innings of 59 from 28 deliveries, hitting nine fours and one six. That partnership followed the early loss of Lila and gave Delhi the base to attack through the middle and final overs without losing their scoring momentum. Tanisha was eventually dismissed by G Trisha, but Delhi’s scoring did not slow down in the closing overs.

Shweta Sehrawat added further speed to the innings with 26 runs from just eight balls. Her short stay included one four and three sixes, helping Delhi push their total beyond the 250-run mark. Nazma Khan contributed 11, while Deeksha Sharma remained unbeaten on 15 and captain Soni Yadav also finished not out on 15. Delhi’s innings included eight extras and ended at 262/6 after 20 overs. The total was not only the highest in domestic women’s T20s, but also the 11th-highest score in all women’s T20 cricket; the ten totals above it have all come in women’s T20 internationals.

Hyderabad needed a strong response but lost wickets while trying to keep up with the required rate. G Trisha was their leading batter, scoring 80 from 52 balls with 10 fours and three sixes. Captain Pranavi Chandra made 21 from 13 deliveries, including three fours and one six. They were the only two Hyderabad batters to score more than 20 runs. Despite Trisha’s effort, Hyderabad could not build a partnership large enough to challenge Delhi’s total and finished on 154/8 in 20 overs.

Delhi’s bowlers shared the work of defending the target, with Sumiti Soni taking three wickets for 28 runs. Her spell helped Delhi keep control of the chase as Hyderabad struggled to find the partnerships needed to stay in the contest. Hyderabad’s Vanka Pooja was among the wicket-takers in the first innings, finishing with four wickets for 32 runs. The Hyderabad bowlers had found it difficult to contain Delhi’s scoring, with the other seven bowlers conceding at least 11 runs per over.

Delhi’s 262/6, powered by Tanisha’s century and the 160-run stand with Priya, set a new mark for the highest total by a women’s team in domestic T20 cricket overall. Their 108-run win over Hyderabad completed a match in which the top order provided the main scoring force and the bowlers then defended the record total. Hyderabad finished at 154/8, while Delhi left the match with the tournament’s new domestic T20 record intact.
