In the U-23 One Day tournament being held recently, Team is accompanied by young support staff Payal Choudhary (manager), Neeru Manhas (coach), Surekha (Trainer) and Chetna Dogra (Physio) under different capacities. After the Jammu and Kashmir team lost their opener against Puducherry, they came back hard while winning 4 matches consecutively which was against teams like Meghalaya, Mizoram, Bihar, and Arunachal Pradesh.
These victories have led the Jammu Kashmir eves to move forward with confidence and gain momentum. Cricketers like Ananya Sharma, Nadia Chowdhary, Bismah Hassan, and Tanisha Sharma have impressed everyone by their skillful performances. Ananya being the highest wicket-taker for the side, her teammate Bismah Hassan apart alongside scoring impactful runs has also bagged 5 wickets against Arunachal Pradesh.
The Jammu and Kashmir team was acknowledged and congratulated by Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, CEO Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association for this achievement.
In the plate Category, Jammu and Kashmir had 8 Matches, out of which they won 5, lost 1 and 2 ended without any results. J & K finished second in the Group after Chandigarh who won 7 out of 7 matches that they played. Chandigarh qualified for further rounds.
