Bangladesh Women’s Emerging Team are set for an important tour of South Africa, where they will play a six-match white-ball series against South Africa Women’s Emerging. The tour will give a group of young and developing Bangladeshi players valuable experience against a strong South African side. The series will include three One-Day matches followed by three T20 matches, with all six games scheduled to be played across Durban and Pietermaritzburg.
The Bangladesh Women’s Emerging Team will be led by Disha Biswas, who has been named captain for the tour. The third and final One-Day match will then be played at Pietermaritzburg Oval in Pietermaritzburg on August 3, 2026 (Monday) at 9:30 AM.
After the One-Day series, the two teams will move to the shorter format for a three-match T20 series. The first T20 match will be played at Pietermaritzburg Oval on August 6, 2026 (Thursday), starting at 1:00 PM local time. The action will then return to Chatsworth Oval for the second T20 on August 9, 2026 (Sunday), followed by the third and final T20 on August 11, 2026 (Tuesday). Both matches in Durban are scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM local time.
The tour will be closely watched as Bangladesh continue to build their women’s cricket pathway.
