NECO Master Blaster, led by skipper Shraddha Nabira, were up against India Warriors, led by skipper Mona Meshram, in the final of the recently concluded edition of the Vidarbha Women’s Premier League 2026 from 7th to 14th June.

The India Warriors and the NECO Master Blasters won a couple of games in their campaign in the league stages of the tournament. NECO Master Blasters defeated Orange Tigresses in the Eliminator by 4 wickets to book a spot in the grand finale of the tournament on 14th June 2026 at the VCA Jamtha Ground, Nagpur.
The NECO Master Blasters took the opportunity to bat first and put the runs on the board as skipper Shraddha Nabira won the toss in the crucial title clash. Skipper Shraddha Nabira led from the front, registering an impressive half-century 66 (48 balls), while opening the innings alongside Shivani Dharne, keeping the scoreboard ticking at a brisk rate as she kept losing partners at the other end.
Nupur Kohale (21 off 14 balls), wicket-keeper batter Nihari Kawale (16 off 19 balls), and Diya Bhagwat (12 off 10 balls) chipped in with handy contributions with the bat for the Master Blasters as they posted a competitive 140/8 in their quota of 20 overs. Skipper Mona Meshram (4-0-19-3), Ayushi Thakre (3-0-17-2), and Dharvi Tembhurne (3-0-27-1) were the top performers with the ball for India Warriors, while Shreemayi Pathak (3-0-19-0) played her part with the ball for her side.
Chasing a target of 141, the India Warriors opener Ayushi Thakre (65 off 50 balls) and the wicket-keeper batter Latika Inamdar (42 off 31 balls) played a massive role in guiding them over the line with four wickets in hand and a couple of balls to spare. The innings had as many as five extras. The 42-run 4th wicket partnership between Ayushi Thakre and the wicket-keeper batter Latika Inamdar was the highest partnership of the run chase, proving to be decisive as India Warriors clinched the title with an impressive win.
Nupur Kohale (3.4-0-29-3), Arya Gohane (4-0-18-1), Shreya Lanjewar (4-0-26-1), and Yashshri Soley (4-0-31-1) were the top performers with the ball for NECO Master Blasters. Ayushi Thakre was awarded the Player of the Match for her decisive impact with the bat for her side, playing an important role as they lifted the silverware.
