Cricket pavilion to be named after Sushma Verma

Recently Cricket Association of Himachal Pradhesh accepted a suggestion of naming a stand or a pavilion after female cricketer Sushma Verma. This news has stirred Himachal Pradhesh Academy and people who have been following the Indian Wicket Keeper with joy and excitement. She would be the first playing Women Cricketer where a stand is named after the player. Having a wonderful successful story, Sushma Verma deserves this feat and we from Female Cricket wholeheartedly congratulate her on this achievement. She has left girls inspired. Indeed this celebration is wonderful news for the young girls and would inspire other cricketers to give their best.

“It’s a matter of pride that the pavilion’s name will be named after the ace women cricketer. Also it’s great motivation for the girls of the Himachal Women Cricket Academy and other girls and boys of Himachal to work harder and perform at their level best to achieve such heights. “We will produce more cricketers who will be donning the blue jersey and making Himachal proud.”

said HPCA Press Secretary, Mr. Mohit Sood.

“We always followed her footsteps. She has been a true source of guidance for us all. And after this news, we feel so proud of her. She deserves this honor”
