A technically sound right-handed batter, Sidra has been the backbone of Pakistan’s batting order for over a decade, guiding her team through both challenging chases and steady building phases. Her career is a testament to perseverance, steadily working her way to milestones, breaking records, and cementing her name among Pakistan’s finest.

Sidra’s cricketing journey began in the domestic circuit where she represented sides like Lahore, Punjab, Omar Associates, Higher Education Commission, and State Bank of Pakistan. Her calm temperament and ability to anchor innings earned her a spot in the national side, where she made her mark on the biggest stage.

Sidra Amin’s Breakthrough Season

It was in that 2022 tournament that she truly announced herself on the world stage. On 14 March 2022, she scored her maiden ODI century, 104 against Bangladesh, an innings that reflected her grit and composure under pressure. Just months later, she struck again, compiling a brilliant 123 against Sri Lanka in June, followed by crossing the 1000-run mark in ODIs, becoming just the 7th Pakistani woman to achieve the milestone.

Sidra’s career trajectory since 2022 has been one of consistency and brilliance. She not only became a mainstay in Pakistan’s ODI squad but also the batter around whom Pakistan built their innings. By 2025, she had transformed into one of Pakistan’s most prolific run-getters, amassing 2271 runs in 75 ODI innings, with the personal best of 176*, a record that reflects her ability to both build and accelerate an innings.

In September 2025, Sidra added another golden chapter to her career at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Against South Africa, she scored back-to-back centuries, 121* off 150 balls in the first ODI, becoming just the third Pakistani woman to cross 2000 ODI runs and 122 off 110 balls in the very next match, registering her sixth ODI hundred.

These back-to-back hundreds not only sealed her place among the elite but also showcased her as Pakistan’s most dependable performer at home.
