Indonesia led by skipper Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini were crowned as the champions of the Kartini Cup 2025. A total of three teams namely, the Philippines, the Cook Islands and Indonesia participated in the recently concluded edition of the tournament. The tournament was played in a single round-robin format.

Philippines struggle with back-to-back losses
The Alex Smith-led side lost on both occasions against Indonesia by 76 runs and against the Cook Islands by 38 runs in the series. Skipper Alex Smith led from the front scoring 41 runs in a couple of innings with the bat and ended the series as the leading run-scorer for her side and the 3rd highest run-scorer of the tournament with an average of 20.50 in a couple of innings with the bat.
Katie Donovan was the leading wicket-taker for her side and the joint 3rd highest wicket-taker with the ball, alongside Ni Ariani from Indonesia with four wickets at an average of 7.50 and an economy of 3.75 in a couple of innings with the ball for her side in the tournament.
Cook Islands win one to reach final, but finish as runners-up
The Gabby Sullivan-led side had a decent campaign in the series, sealing a 38-run win against the Philippines in the earlier stages, before eventually ending the tournament as the runners-up, courtesy of a three-wicket loss in the final against Indonesia. They had also suffered their only defeat in the league stages against Indonesia by 8 wickets.
Esther Williams ended the tournament as the leading run-scorer for her side and the joint 3rd highest run-scorer of the tournament with 41 runs at an average of 20.50 in a couple of innings with the bat for her side alongside the Philippines skipper Alex Smith.
Akita Vailoa is the joint-highest wicket-taker for her side alongside skipper Gabby Sullivan and the joint 2nd highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 5 wickets at a sensational average and economy of 2.60 in a couple of innings with the ball, alongside Ni Luh Dewi from Indonesia.
Indonesia crowned champions with an unbeaten run
The Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini-led side had an amazing campaign in the tournament. They were the only unbeaten side in the tournament. They defeated the Cook Islands in the final by 3 wickets to be crowned as the champions of the competition. Desi Wulandari ended the leading run-scorer for her side and the tournament with 78 runs in three innings with the bat.
Sang Maypriani ended as the joint-highest leading wicket-taker for her side and the tournament with 6 wickets alongside her teammate Ni Wayan Sariani with 6 wickets in three innings with the ball for her side at an average of 4.66 in the competition, playing a crucial role in helping her side clinch the Kartini Cup title.
