Shreyanka revealed that the idea of buying a car for her father had been in the works for a long time. She planned to surprise him on his special day, keeping the details hidden until the big reveal. The surprise involved not just the car but also had a team of friends, including cricket icons, whom she fondly referred to as Smriti (Mandhana), Jemi (Jemimah Rodrigues), and Aru (Arundhati Reddy), who joined in to make it an unforgettable moment for her father.

The moment when her father unwrapped the surprise was filled with joy, as Shreyanka described his reactions as “very cute.” This act stands as a testament to her deep bond with her family and the importance she places on expressing gratitude through meaningful gestures.

When asked about how it feels to be able to fulfill such significant financial commitments at a young age, Shreyanka expressed her pride and sense of responsibility. She emphasized that her primary desire is to gift her parents, acknowledging the sacrifices they have made for her career.

Shreyanka clarified that her priorities lie with her family, especially her parents, who have stood by her throughout her journey in cricket. Her commitment to using her earnings to support and gift them first before indulging in personal expenses highlights her humility and appreciation for their unwavering support.

She is currently the leading wicket-taker for her franchise with 19 wickets at an impressive average of 18.36 and an economy slightly on the higher side (8.51) in 15 innings across the first couple of editions of the tournament.

Her tally of wickets includes a couple of four-wicket hauls, with her best bowling performance coming in the final of the 2nd edition of the WPL, when she returned with a match-defining spell of 3.3-0-12-4 in her spell against the Delhi Capitals led by skipper Meg Lanning on 17th March 2024 (Sunday) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, in Delhi.

She was also the purple cap holder of the 2nd edition of the tournament, leading the wicket-taking charts with 13 wickets at an impressive average of 12.07 and an economy of 7.30 in eight innings with the ball. She played a pivotal role with the ball for her side in helping the Smriti Mandhana-led side script history by ending the 16-year-long wait for the franchise for a title triumph by defeating the Capitals in the final by eight wickets.

With Shreyanka recently being ruled out of the ongoing third edition of the WPL and Sneh Rana taking her place in the RCB squad, fans eagerly await her return to the game.
