Fasten your seat belts, cricket fans! As we are just a couple of days away from another exhilarating season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) – there’s some really good news coming up for fans who wish to witness breathtaking action – in an unreal live stadium experience.

The sale for tickets of all games being played at Lucknow will go live on February 12, at 6 PM, exclusively on the BookMyShow app and website.
Via its official social media handle X, the governing body made the announcement of the commencement of the sale – and cricket lovers are surely expected to turn in huge numbers to get their seats booked for action-packed cricket.
The Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium in Lucknow will host 4 games from the 3rd of March to the 8th of March, with host team UP Warriorz taking on all 4 contending teams.
The first season saw Mumbai hosting all the games, while Bangalore and Delhi got the opportunity to host the matches in the second season.
In a great initiative to popularize women’s cricket in the country, Vadodara, Bangalore, Mumbai and Lucknow have been chosen as four cities that will lay the carpets for the WPL.
After qualifying for the playoffs in the first season but enduring a disappointing time in 2024, the Warriorz will look to turn the tables to claim the championship. With Lucknow set to host WPL matches, the home advantage could provide a significant boost for the UP squad.
The Warriorz will be served by new skipper Deepti Sharma who replaces Alyssa Healy who has failed to recover from frequent injury setbacks. They open their 2025 WPL campaign against Gujarat Giants on the 16th of February.
