What excites me most about working with the under-19 age group is the constant cycle of new talent and new groups coming through,” said England Women’s Head of Under-19 Performance Chris Guest on what he expects from the group and what keeps him interested in working with a bunch of junior talent.
England are placed in Group B alongside Ireland, Pakistan, and USA. The squad will be coached by Chris Guest and he will be assisted by Beth Morgan, and Dan Helesfay in the ICC Women’s Under-19 World Cup, in January next year.
The likes of Ryana MacDonald-Gay, Hannah Baker, Seren Smale, and Charis Pavely who were a part of the inaugural Under-19 batch for the ICC Women’s Under-19 World Cup, all of them have gone on to make their international debut for the senior side in the Ireland series.
