Aliya Riaz of PCB Blasters has been fined 15 percent of her match expense while her Team-mate Najiha Alvi has gotten an official reprove for level 2 and level 1 infringement, separately, identifying with indicating question on umpire’s choice during their side’s National Triangular One-Day Women’s Cricket Championship 2019 match against the PCB Challengers at the Lahore Gymkhana on Tuesday, 17 September.

The occurrence including Najiha occurred in the fourteenth over of Blasters’ innings when she demonstrated difference subsequent to being proclaimed LBW. Twelve overs later, after being adjudicated run-out, Aliya remained at the crease for an extended period of time, thus showing dissent at the decision of an umpire.

At the end of the match, Aliya and Najiha were charged with violating Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel by the on-field umpires Rashid Riaz and Afia Amin. Both pleaded guilty and accepted the penalty imposed by Bilal Khilji, the match referee.
