Indian women’s cricketer Rajeshwari Gayakwad recently underwent knee surgery. The left-arm spinner last featured for the Indian women’s side in the one-off Test match in Chennai against South Africa, where she claimed two wickets.
Rajeshwari shared the news of her successful surgery on Instagram with the caption, “Can’t wait to be back on the field soon!”
Current and former cricketers, including other female players, sent their well wishes. Her fellow UP Warriorz teammate, Punam Khemnar, commented with a “Get well soon” message, and Indian batter Punam Raut also wished the spinner a speedy recovery.
Rajeshwari will be looking to recover quickly, aiming for a potential comeback.
